• Add manning friction to 1D CHJ code and modify the current boundary conditions.

• Ensure that all parameters are in physical units. Think about tuning them to match experiments.

• write code that detects the jump location. This is done by locating the first jump in the solution h.

• write code that computes the 2D Fourier transform of the location of the jump, which is a function of time and angle.
