  • [ ] Try high-order FD discretization on the method of manufactured solution (MMS) problem. Should see order reduction with, e.g., SSP33.
  • [ ] Code your own WENO FD discretization and test it.
  • [ ] send paper showing the comparison of multidimensional vs. dim-by-dim FV WENO. Should we expect to get high-order convergence with SharpClaw for the 2D test problems we have in mind? (David)
  • [ ] MMS for Burger’s with linear (in space) solution

  • Numerical searches suggest that \(b^T A^{s-j}=0\) for \(j=1,\dots,q-1\) for any \(p\ge 1\) and any \(s, q\). Can we prove this?
