Accomplishments

1. Re-run some the 2D advection equation in a torus
2. Found few bugs in CF3: calculation of the error norm for the solution points of the SD method; instability in the calculation of some standard RK scheme; optimization of the standard and optimized ERK for a fair comparison. I have worked closely with Willem to fix them.
3. More testing SD code for Burgers equations and SSP schemes. Preliminary results (on a coarse mesh) indicates that the main constraint on the time step is given by the SSP property.
4. Work about 4 hours on the asympthotic behaviour dt_max/s
5. More testing on Naser

Discussion

1. The discovery of few bugs in the code has slowed down the completion of the paper.
2. The corrected results are very promising
